Creative Day 11: Pin-Up Girl Makeover!

And kind of a photo shoot too! It was SO MUCH FUN! I mean, Hello...I'm a girl...why wouldn't it be fun! And I must say, there is little victory in Victory Rolls. They are difficult but WORTH IT! I swear, I want to become a trendy Tower girl who shows off my tats and wears red lipstick regularly and wears my hair like this all the time! Because, not trying to be vain, but I rock this look! Someone yesterday said I looked like Lucy! I hear Halloween costume! Eeee! FUN TIMES! Here are some of the pics:

Day 10: Post Holiday Re-Decorating!

Kinda! :) I spent quite some time re-arranging my pictures and knick-knacks this Day. I love having a fun/beautiful home that people comment on. People walk in my front door and are greeting with a beautiful LOUD Blue wall and they LOVE it! It's So much fun.

My Home is coming along. I am an apartment manager as was my mother...and yes...grandmother. It's not my only occupation but it's free rent so that is amazing. However, I have learned over the years that when your job is also your home you can lose your home with one bitter supervisor. And thus feeling peace in my home has been hard to attain. I'm trying though! And that is why I have tried to make it as pretty as possible!

Defy Gravity! Day 1!

It's a new year. I'm a newly single. Newly heartbroken/mended woman and this song and venture is Perfect for me! I hope you enjoy it!

Monologue Monday Day 2!

This might be my favorite day I've done so far! I loved it. Every minute! From learning lines to channeling the emotion to who I am! It was so much fun. I have realized I am meant to be doing more in the arts and need to get out there!

Self-Portrait Day 3

I was at work until 11 pm. All I had was some sharpies/Highlighters/Pens and determination. And this was the fruit of that labor of love. I regret the cheek bones/old lady cheeks. They did not turn out so well. But My eyes came out nice :) For not being much of an artist I did a decent job.

Try something you Never thought you'd be good at or like, and find yourself wanting to do it more! :)

Haiku Day 4:

Dreamt of You Last Night
Accidental Encounter
But The Day is Mine

The night before this I had dreamt of my Ex. It was one of those "Feels like Real life then you wake up a little sad and confused" Kinda dreams. When 2 people part ways, I think it is natural to always hope that you are missed. At least a little. So that is what the dream was about. I got my "I miss you more than I can bear" and I was content. I then woke up to realize...it's not true...and yes...he is dating someone else.

So with that affecting me that day, I decided to write a short and simple but still emotional Haiku about it. I thougt it fitting. :)

SMILE it's Day 5! :)

So today I was inspired by something I had thought of during the day. I was feeling Gross and Ugly. No make-up and blah. Then my inner voice said "Someone who is happy and smiling needs no make-up" Inner beauty is much more important. It sounds so cliche, but so true.

Happiness is contagious and I would rather have people WANT to be around me and say "She is so jovial" Or "She lights up a room with her joy" Rather than "Damn Girl, You're bangin'" Or what-not. SO I came up with this!
